Who has a '49 DeSoto wiring diagram???

Ozzie1949, a new member, is trying to figure out his wiring and would

appreciate seeing one - if someone has one handy. I sent a copy of the

P15 diagram, but it is probably not quite the same due to transmission

and sission choke wiring. And perhaps other differences.

Hey bob I got one. However, still chasing wires. If anyone would have a real picture of their horn relay and circuit break that would help out a ton though.

Hey Ozzie if you go to the photo gallery I posted the 49 Chry wiring diagram awhile back. It's under "Photo Gallery" -> "Electrical" I don't know how close it would be, but I'd imagine pretty darn close as the Chry and DeSoto's were sisters back then. But I just woke up and reread it and you wrote you got one. Nevermeind! But if you are tech savy, you may want to upload your diagram as well so you can reference it online without having to dig out the paper copy (and help out other Desoto owners). As for the circuit breakers, I thought our cars didn't have any. We just have the wiring block ounts on our fire wall and up front by the grill....but maybe I'm mistaken... I'll see if I can get a photo of my horn relay tonite...Good luck!

The box is right by the battery. Could be non orginal or a replacement.
