I found a rear axle of a 1970 plymouth satellite with a 2,73 ratio and a track width of 59.2 inches and a spring width of 44 inches.

The axle of my 1950 buzz coupe has a track width of 60 inches so there should be no problem, the spring perches have to be relocated 1.5 inch to the outside ( is 47 inch on the coup ) but my question is: is the drive pinion flange of the old shaft interchangable with the new one ?? I would love to know this before I take my driveshaft apart to find out this is

a " major " operation.

Regards

Fred
