Hi everyone, I thought I'd post an intro and some info on my car. My name is shawn and I'm another guy that usually hangs out on the HAMB(go by plmczy over there). I'm currently working on (albeit very slowly) a 1940 Dodge tudor sedan that I picked up for $100 back in the spring of 2004. The whole front sheetmetal was welded together and the lower rear portion of the front fender was cut for a tilt front end. The stock front suspension was replaced with a late 70's gm sub, not me , previous owner. I cut the front sheetmetal apart at the welds to store it. I've been collecting better sheetmetal over the last three years, never knew this year Dodge was hard to find parts for, lol. The plan is to do a mild kustom with it, lowered 2",starburst hubcaps, maybe skirts and some cheater cut out's, you know to wake up the neighbors, haha. I'm sure I'll have some questions on some swapping of parts. later shawn

welcome shawn. One of mine is a '40 ply sedan, fatman/350/700r4/10bolt. Several other '40s on the site also. Mopar sheetmetal is hard to find. Several months ago I bought extra front grill tin for my '40 at a local swap meet for twenty bucks, it is out there. Keep us posted on your project.
