p10plymouth Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Does anyone any any information on a item I would like to have .. For my 1940 Plymouth.. A under hood light kit... There seems to be two differant numbers 1232607 1244921 The box looks about the same the items might be the same from looking at the pictures Are they the same just maybe made differant yrs? Thanks for the info..DANiel Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 I would guess (not having seen the light) that it mounts on the firewall. Do both items look the same and seem to mount the same? Not sure how crucial a difference would be. Either might be correct. Quote
p10plymouth Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 I would use either one ...BUT the only info I got is the bottom # 1244921 is for 1950 models... . I'm trying to figure out if I can modifiy it if I have to or use it as is .. (before I buy it)... DANiel Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Here's a pic from the P15 (46-48) model manual for an underhood light. Not sure exactly where they expect to mount it. I have one on my firewall, but it probably should be on the hood brace above the engine area. Don't know if any of this helps or not. Quote
