Stop light reflector on dash

Hope somebody can remember what the item was called that was mounted on the dash. It let you see the stop light without having to crane your neck or look out the window to see if the light was green. It used a mirror or something of that nature to reflect the image of the stop light. I know I saw it on the old forum but without knowing what it is called it's kinda hard to search.

I think it's called a prism. Known as a stop light viewer. You can buy new reproductions of them today on ebay and some other places.

They were actually called a Trafficator.. Or at least that is what it called on the box mine came in...

But I remember as a kid my uncle had one that sat (mounted) on the center of the dash. It had a piece of acrylic(?) on the front and you had a bigger piece on the back to view the stop light. I don't think it had a mirror because the stop light was not upside down. My fading memory (damn I hate getting old at times like this!) can't recall what the actual shape was. (He also had a Hoola girl from his Navy days.)
