Oy, sorry I brought it up. Maybe that's where that little ditty about "greasy grimy Gopher guts" came from.

The Mrs. and I just finished shoveling the driveway and the front walk. That was a big job. Looks like about 16 inches on the ground right now. The heaviest band of the storm is coming through right now and will last until 3PM. As much as an inch an hour could fall, according the weather people. Then it will slow down but keep going until 10 tonight. Then we get to dig out. Not only can I not get to my Plymouth. I can't even get to the door that leads to my Plymouth. Almost went down on my keister out there and my wife is still laughing.

30 inches of snow and no electricity from 6 AM to 10:30 AM. You just gotta love winter. To think one of the reasons I relocated from New England to Virginia was to avoid all of this.

Joe and Rodney, I take it you have not had any power outages?

No problems :( knock on wood. It would be real bad here without Electric. I could not be on the computer;)

I did see the fire dept down the street, I think somebody got sick they sent for a hummer it all green and stuff. It looked very impressive coming up the hill. This is the only weather for that thing.

JIm I know you all will get more snow then us. Take it easy:)

Jim, I'm glad to hear you got your power back. We've been afraid of that happening here, the snow is so heavy and weighing everything down. We just had a big branch come crashing down in our front yard. Hit the wife's car but there's so much snow on it I don't think it hurt it. It's times like this I really wish I had a wood stove.
