I have been waiting for 1 month and 2 weeks for my brake booster to come back. The power brake booster on my 61 hawk never worked. I finally got up the nerve to call the guy and have him do something about it. I think he knew all along as he gave me no static. He sent it to his rebuilder and I just got it back. I installed it on the car and the brake pedal had to be pumped up to activate the brakes. I then remembered that the brakes can be bled from the booster, I had my son pump up the pedal and there they were, good solid brakes and Power to boot. WoW I wish I could have got this from the beginning. I guess better late then never.:)

The sad thing is they are calling for snow tonite and tomorrow. I drove the Plymouth yesterday so I got all my gas off my chest. Now just think after all this is over I will be able to enjoy the Stude again. Oh, I fixed it all by my self too;)

Rodney,

Good for you on getting the Studebaker going again, plus the fact that you got some miles on the Plymouth before the pending snow storm.

My Plymouth has been in the garage for close to two weeks now, as there is enough salt on the roads up here that there is salt dust when the traffic goes by

Thanks JIm, hey Bob I saw that today, they are laying some kind of ice repellet. I know that stuff is no good for cars. I am going to miss driving my cars. The guy's around here do not drive their cars in winter. I am talking not just snow they don't drive in the cold:D I think that's funny. Thank goodness for Plymouths and those aftermarket heaters. All the cars are tucked away. The snow is coming down some kinda bad here now. I can only look out the window and wonder. Could the Plymouth pull that hill now?
