Joe Flanagan Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Let us know what you find. I'd be curious to find out, myself. Quote
p24-1953 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 could a weak battery cause this? Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 I would think it would have to be practically dead if it couldn't energize that small electromagnet enough to move the arm. Are you having issues with power? Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 I would take it apart and clean it. As I said, the parts are so small and there is a lot of movement going on. The potential for something binding is great and it wouldn't take much to obstruct the movement of this thing. The manual says not to use any lubricant on these parts because it will attract grime and foul them up. They recommend clean and dry. Quote
