Hey gang, just skimming the paper this morning and saw this article.

According to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel tire prices are expected to increase during the beginning of next year. So if you wanna burn some rubber at the stop and go lights, just make sure you got the extra cash to replace the tread!

I personally am not too worried, as I plan on getting a hover conversion done to save on tire wear. Saw one done on a Delorean once, thought it looked pretty sweet!

If you compare the sizes on newer cars compared to to sizes a few years ago, you can see why prices go up. Cars now have 16, and 17 inch, with 60, 55,50 series tires that cost more than a 75 series tire. The replacement tires for my Dodge Avenger would cost $155 each to replace, 205/55-16. The tires I had put on my 49 Plymouth cost $55 each , 205/75-14............
