BobT-47P15 Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 I've been looking thru a long thread of many pics and comments about cars customized in the 50s and 60s by such people as Gene Winfied, the Barris brothers and others. Some of those cars are really nice looking, some are kinda far out....but all rather interesting. At least to me. Some of them I recall seeing in those small size magazines we used to read up by the front window of the drug store after school. We just "borrowed" the mag from the rack, read thru it, and returned it to it's place. Just mentioning this because some might want to look at it, being car fans in general. Norm's Coupe Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Bob, If you like looking at the old customs, check out the guys selling old magazines at the swap meets. You may run across some for sale. I have one very old Custom Rodder magazine that has some interesting pictures in it. It's smaller than the regular magazines. Think it's one from when they first came out with the magazine. Quote
