Guest mike_D24 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Hey, so I got all my brake parts in. I'm looking for a drum puller tool, though. I tried NAPA, Harbor Freight, and a local tool store. Nothing. Do any of you have one I can borrow? How about a local place to go rent/buy one? I'd appreciate any help. If the weather is decent, I'm going to do some carb work this weekend. The cold starts are just too hard. I'm not going to try starting again until I get the car breathing right and behaving properly during cold starts. I'm all set to do the work as per the responses I got on the last thread. Thanks. 48mirage Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 No answer for you yet. I am trying to get to the swap meet in Wichita Kansas this weekend. I'll be looking for the brake tools. If I come up with something I will let you know. Jim Quote
Johnny S Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Mike, I've got one if you need it....up here in Fort Collins. You goin' to the swap meet Saturday in Denver? I could bring it then. Or, I'm running to Denver tomorrow if the weather holds.....I could meet you somewhere. PM me if either of those work for you. Otherwise we could meet in Loveland and have a cup of coffee. Quote

randroid Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 ... is located a block East of Taft (CR-17 for you flat-land foriegners) and 402, aka 14th SW. I live about a block away from this world-class deli and if you're going to meet in Loveland that's where you should be. Give me a call because I'd really enjoy meeting other members of this forum. -Randy (970) 593-1593 Quote

It'd be nice if I could take my car, but that won't be until the weather is good enough to do some solid work. I'll keep you posted. Mike Quote

AJ Johnson Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Wish I could help you. But the wife & I now live in Corpus Christi, TX. We both graduated from CSU and her parents live in Ft. Collins. Her dad is a electrical genius, which comes in real handy. My sister is in management at Coors Brewing in Golden, but lives in Thornton. (Made me quite popular in college). Brother works for some oil & gas company in Denver, but travels all over the globe. Can you tell I miss Colorado? That being sad, I was able to take the Coronet out for a spin this weekend in warm sunny weather. Sadly, it has been raining for the last 3 days. AJ 1954 Dodge Coronet Quote
