Guest RLStroope Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 Can anyone give me a ball park curb weight for a B3B-108 with high sides? I'm going go fetch one and need to know how heavy of a trailer I need. Thanks, Rich Quote
Mike Meade Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 Hi,the B1B's weigh less than #3500 and probably closer to #3200. Mike Quote
48WingNut Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 The "weight/fee catagory" on my Michigan title for my B-1-D-126 is 4270 lbs. 48WN Quote
Steven Hood Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 A 1953 ½-ton, had a GVW from 4,250# - 4,900#. A 6000# trailer should be plenty. I brought my 1-ton dually, with wooden grain box, home on one for 8 hours without any problems. http://imageevent.com/hoody/1949b1d126?p=12&w=4&c=4&n=0&m=24&s=0&y=1&z=2&l=0 http://imageevent.com/hoody/1949b1d126?p=11&w=4&n=1&c=4&m=24&s=0&y=1&z=2&l=0 Steve Quote
grey beard Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Gents, Please don't confuse curb weight with GVW. There's a buach'a difference. GVW means how much your truck can haul AFTER you add in the curb weight. Total of the two is what the vehicle was built to haul. Quote
