Haven't had to change the pump on mine but from the looks of things there should be more than enough room to get the pump off.

I am running Langdon headers on my 52 dodge. Does anyone know if you have to drop the front exhaust to remove the fuel pump?

Thanks Bob

Cast iron or tube headers?

Pete,

They are cast iron.

Bob- Sorry, mine are tube headers so I don't have an answer for ya... There is plenty of room to take the fuel pump off with the tube type.

It is on the road. I'm having a few issues with the electric fuel pump, but other than that it drives greart. The T5 it nice. It shifts smooth and everything seems to be good. I've only put a few miles on it, but so far, so good. How are u coming on urs? have u moved yet?

The 52 is on a truck somewhere between Rhode Island and Virginia. I am in Blacksburg, will head north for the holiday tomorrow, and the family will be coming down after Jan 1st. Good news is the new house has 3X the garage space as the last one. Have a good holiday

Have a safe trip back to R.I. for the holidays. Congratulations on the new place, and especially the 3x garage. Maybe we can hook up this spring. Hope you and the family have a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
