woodscavenger Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Here is the situation. The cab has been removed. I am adding a dual chamber MC under the floor boards reversing the direction of the current location. I created a bracket for the new cylinder which will be mounted to the frame. Before I mark and drill I need to figure out where the stock pedal location sits before you push it down. I never drove this truck before dismantling it so I don't have a good idea of where it sits. I think the easiest way to describe it would be to tell me what angle the pedal sits in relation to the floor board. Looking at it I would guess that the oval foot pedal is about perpendicular to the floor but I am not sure. Maybe another way to describe it would be the angle of the arm in relation to the pivot shaft. Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Would the height of the top of the pedal to, say the top of the frame help? Tom Quote
51 Fargo Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Here is the set up I put in my truck and this is a universal set up Quote
woodscavenger Posted November 7, 2008 Author Report Posted November 7, 2008 That is similar to what I created but I am using the stock pivot point next to the clutch pedal. I still don't know what where the "neutral" position is for the brake pedal before you stomp on it to stop. Quote
