My wife and I have been hem-hawing the last 2-3 years about getting a digital camera but never get it done. We threw the idea out to our two boys and daughter-in-law and, bingo, we now have a nice beginner camera. :D Now I don't have to wait so long to use up a roll of film and then take it to get processed. Also, I can post pictures of things I have questions about much faster. As usual we're behind the curve on most things. I'm on vacation this week so hope to have it all figured out by the end of the week.

I hope everyone had an ejoyable Christmas and please watch out for the other guy next weekend.

I think you're going to find your digital camera a delight to use once you get use to it. I wish I had owned one when I first started disassembling my truck. Right now it's so handy to take a picture and then post it on the internet, or here on the forum.

Being behind the curve is a good thing! I live there-it's ofter easier and less expensive to learn from the mistakes that other folks make thank to make them yourself. I said I'd never have a computer in the house (wrong), that 8 track tapes were a passing thing (I was right on that one). I got a digital camera from my wife on our 25th. I said I didn't need 1 that the Minolta 35mm was fine. Wonder how women know about those things? Enjoy the camera, and the rest of your holiday season with it. Mike
