1961 dodge overdrive trans in 47 Ply?

Does anyone know if a 1961 Dodge overdrive will fit in my 1947 plymouth?

I think you need to post your question to either the Pilothouse forum or the P15-D24 forum and not the technical section to get answers. I believe that any overdrive that was an option behind a flathead MoPar will fit your Plymouth. If the Dodge was a fluid drive vehicle the the input shaft would have to be replaced with one from a non fluid drive 3 speed transmission such as your Plymouth.
