Newbie here! Educate me on my 58 Dodge truck

I'm brand new here, thanks for letting me join! I've been gifted a disassembled 58 D100 Dodge truck. I know nothing about these trucks. It has a 315 v8 in it. Would this truck be considered a "pilothouse" truck. What other names are these trucks known as? I don't know what a p15 or d24 is. Wh...
