I am new to this and I hope I am doing it right. I am restoring a truck that has been in my family for 60+ years. I started the project several years ago and have just retired and am going to complete it now that I have time. I have overhauled the engine, brakes and the running gear. i am changing the cab and most of the sheet metal from a truck I purchased from out west. It is in great condition and has no rust. I think I will have a real gem when I am through.
When I reinstalled the engine from a complete overhaul, I set the motor mount bracket on the frame with two small wooden blocks between the bracket and the frame. I can't remember how the bracket fastens to the frame. There are holes for something, but for the life of me, I can't remember what goes there. All the fender braces are off and i am wondering if they have anything to do with this.
Can someone help me? (I am now 73 years old and my memory doesn't process quite as good as it used to!!)
