Hello everyone, I'm again asking for help about the 46 DeSoto SP15! For some time now we've been trying to get an appropiate fabric to redo the seats and door panles (the interior was redone in the 70s, so there are original fabrics in the car), but we can't get anything close here (Uruguay). The only available things are for modern cars (80+), vinyls, leather, or fabrics for furniture. Because of this, the more probable thing until now is to do it with leather (although it is a 4 door, and originally it was cloth. I think convertibles were leather). Is it possible to get any fabric close to the original in the US? (it doesn't have to be strictly original, just something close in design and color) any that can be recommended? The only I heard of (here in p15-d24) is SMS Auto Fabrics. I sent them a question and I am waiting for the response. Thanks for your help! Tomorrow I will upload a photo of the current seats and the options we have here now, and I attach now a photo of the exterior, just because I like it! Finally, and not related to the question, I finally checked and the block is 23 inches long. If I remember what I read some time ago, that and the vin number (11 538 034) confirm it was built in Detroit. Regards, Federico
