    Maybe some of my Mopar buddies have a later Dodge Dakota pu. Hi have 4 1942 Desotos, 3 1951 Imperials and 4 1956 Imperials, so I am a legit member of this forum. Anyway, my work-horse 1997 Dakota has a dead battery, and I can't get the hood open. The open latch is stuck. I tried prying it open by force, but even that didn't work. Any suggestions?
