A friend of mine moves vehicles as a bit of a side hustle when he has time, and as a result, we are often seeing rare vehicles and making new connections. He is helping somebody move up here in the Northwest and I had a chance to see this very rare '36 Plymouth Pickup. The pickup is in great shape, and had been on the road sometime in the past. It has a 230 engine in it with some rare accessories. I had never heard of Phillips Performance, but am always looking for off the wall stuff to set my cars a little more apart. Supposedly he has the molds for casting the parts, which I intend to try and verify as it would be very cool if I could get one or two of the items made for mine. I currently have a Shanafelt intake that I'm hoping to put on my engine that I intend to be getting built up in the spring. Again this is not my truck, but is definitely a neat rare pickup.

Well it's been a couple of months and my projects are once again firmly on hold. 'Spose that's how it goes some times though. So until my working space is back in order I thought I'd poke the forum for thoughts and possible interest in cheaper aluminum parts. First and foremost intakes but also heads. Since right now the only new on the market are Edgy and they go for a truly exorbitant price. I understand you pay for the high quality and expertise of course, I'm saying that they seem rather inaccessible price wise. While I don't see myself producing cylinder heads quite yet, I am interested in the demand for another intake supplier. They would be made with good off cuts of a known alloy and could be made to order, for the same price or lower than the one or two currently available parts. It wouldn't be much of a to do with my background in design and fabrication. The machining would of course be done be someone competent and experienced, to insure good fitment and all that. Eager to hear from those more active than myself. IsaacR

Attention; I am not selling anything..I'm just giving a heads up. Because this was a problem before. The Mopar Montana Boys are taking deposits and preorders for the first run of 50 heads. Below is their address if interested. http://www.moparmontana.com/store/c3/CYLINDER_HEADS.html Deposit is 300. Total is 1200. Prepay in full now is 1000. They start casting in March and expect to ship in June. I got mine... Remember I don't work for them, I don't get nothing special. No discount etc. I'm just the messenger. Good day
