Help needed regarding a 1955 Plymouth Flathead block that has a "Hump" at the front of the block but the cylinder head is straight across. Therefore the head does not fully cover the hole. This engine, along with the head was pulled from a junkyard, rebuilt and was ready to start but loses water from the top of the block at the point where the head is, just behind the water pump. Is it possible that this head and engine block worked together? Is so, can that hole be plugged?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
