Has anyone out there installed door poppers on a 46-48 Plymouth?

Thanks for the comments. What I am having trouble with is the latch connection to the solenoid. The solenoid will not pull the door latch far enough to release the door. I was hoping that someone had installed a kit and could give me some pointers..I would appreciate any help that you might offer. -
We are trying to install door poppers on our 1948 Plymouth and cannot get them to work. I would appreciate any and all advice. The problem we are having is that the solenoid will not pull the latch far enough to release the door.
