  1. Plymouthy Adams- Thanks for your comments, I will be building custom shock mounts and welding them in once I have access to a lift and proper fabrication tools and space, I dont want to do that type of work in a 10ft wide driveway with an angle grinder and 110 volt welder. Also plan on alot more custom things at that time and just want the car back on the road for now. I saw the 5752 shocks between $16-25 each, throw away like 40 bucks? its not that big of a deal Does anyone know if the monroe 5752 shock fit the 1951 models? they seem to only be listed for up to 1950
  2. I saw those on ebay but I was just asking if anyone had the part numbers so I can buy them locally or a suggestion when lowered. My car actually sits about the same height so far with the new moog springs, I guess the ones in there were really saggy plus these havent broken in yet. I have a pic of the stocks next to the moog on my phone. ill upload it so people can see alittle later
  3. Hi everyone. I just bought a 1951 Dodge Wayfarer 2 door as a project. Id like to lower it and saw that I could use the Moog CC850 springs which is about a 2" drop. What shocks could I use with those with the stock mounting locations? does anyone have part numbers, havent been able to find original location shock part numbers? The shocks that were on the car are a sears heavy duty brand that I cant reference to any current shock sizes and have been looking. Id prefer not to do the stock relocation now, Just want to get some cheap shocks on there with the moog springs for the summer. Also the rear leaf pack seems very worn too as the car sits low without any blocks on there. The leaf pack sits almost completely straight with no curve, is this normal or are they completely worn out? any recommendations for replacement? Any help would be greatly appreciated
