Need for informed information, looking at maybe swapping out the chassis for an updated one. Has anyone done this and if so what year and make did you go with? Is it more expensive to go in that direction or to do a frame off restoration? I'm looking for a nice ride with the older 52 shell showing on the outside and inside the cab? Any thoughts? Ed

Just got back from the DMV and there is hope after all so I will begin my 5yr restoration plan, unless I hit the lottery than it will be a give it to a shop plan. Ed -
To All, Just got back from the DMV they made it sound simple, because I do have the number on the frame once the truck is road worthy I can get a new vin number. Thank you for the information now let me start spending my kids college money. Ed

Not sure at this time, because don't have a vin plate or motor with numbers. I want to restore it but if I cant get it titled I might have to part it out.

Need help! I recently bought a 52 Dodge Truck B3C, I found the number on the drivers side of the frame. I want to make sure that before I start putting money into this vehicle I can get it titled. Where can I go to find out the process on this? Is there any way to find out the original numbers from the number on the frame. Any help would be appreciated Ed Canell
