  1. My lil cousins 55 savoy All most bone stock frenched tell lights . and a 55 Chevy grill i believe sweet ride
  2. I will make my self look dumb but i wold not have thought of that.. i took it out to get the 6 cyl out so thats not a problem..
  3. Well its out of a 80s LTD rear sump pan Lots of room under there.. I`m not an old timer so I wont argue.. Just using what I have..My dad has built a few 31 model A s and uses the Bow Tie. So with a little of TLC and the right tools and of course $$$ anything can be done.. Or else it would be a chevy.. But thanks for the criticism.. , And i might add i`m not here to judge anyone just here to see what others are doing? would have left her stock. but engine was stuck. and was not sure if parts for fluid drive were even around, id bet its near impossible to get someone who can repair one around here..
  4. areo what year is your ply? i know that the champion site has the size . is this what yours measures? or can you give measurements? just the tank ...not really worried about the mounting bracket.. I called them they were no help just could tell me whatever is on web site..,if it will indeed fit inside the support ,maybe i can get them to weld the brackets on the back not the front ? Not really wanting to cut fire wall although its not really that big of deal..(my dad does on his model A s to make gm 350 fit) so yes i know it can be done ..
  5. its a ford 302 ya with a gm HEI Dist.. lol...via speedway no blue box.. not really a ford man ..though i have an 04 f-250.. i`m using it mainly because i have it and i know it runs good.. will have an automatic behind it. I will be custom making motor mounts that bolt to the front and weld to the frame with puck style mounts..thus there is not a lot of room between the exhaust and the stock steering box.. Hoping i don`t have to cut the fire wall out.. Ive ask on here about the radiator (was missing when got car) and it sounds like it dose not go in the support? i have also read about moving it to the front side? So when i get the radiator and the trans i will know how little room i have...planing to use electric fan also to give me more room..
  6. What have you come up with for motor mounts? are you using the stock column and steering box? I will be stuffing a ford 302 in my 47 coupe as well.
  7. Here is a few pics of what i have done so far..My hope is to have motor finished brakes replaced thinking rusty`s conversion and have her going for next years KOA Lead Sled show in Salina Ks More to come..
  8. the cc479 is the part # for a 3 row on this site http://www.championradiators.com/page/473035584
  9. I just bought a 47 dodge .the radiator was missing. Dose anyone know if it sits inside of the support or on the front? Has anyone used one from champion? and if so how does it fit/work? thanks Coup (47-49) CC4749 Champion All Aluminum Radiator
