Ok - thanks. Does anyone have a picture of this tack strip with these spiked edges that screws on above the doors?

Young Ed, No, I don't see any strip with spikes. The pictures I have at the top of this thread show what is there. Am I missing something?

Does the headliner tack to the same cardboard strip that the windlace tacks to? This makes the tacks visible, correct? What is the very rear wire you have referred to? I got the windlace from a guy that sells headliners on ebay. Let me know if you want his info. I don't think it has the wire mesh in it. It has a foam-type cylinder core with material wrapped around it. You can see it in one of the photos.

Hi all, I have in-hand a new headliner I bought for a 2-door '47 Plymouth. I have the bows. I do not understand how the headliner attaches to the area near the windlace. I have attached pictures. Please help.

Hi all - I have a 47 Plymouth club coupe. I have the trunk door latch, but it is missing some of the interior parts that actually lock the trunk. It has a long rectangular piece that something must attach to to latch into the on the trunk pan. Can anyone take a picture of the interior of their trunk latch handle please?

Do you know if there are left and right sided springs for the hood? It seems that the driver's side spring doesn't work either way it is put in. It it is hooked like the passenger side the spring rubs on the fender, if it is put in the opposite way the bracket hits the spring and the hood won't site properly at the cowl.

Can you give me some instructions how to do just that?

Hi all - we are trying to get the hood on my 47 Plymouth Club Coupe to fit nicely. It seems that the passenger side looks ok, but the driver's side is out of sorts. There is too much gap at the cowl on the driver's side both vertically and horizontally. Anyone have any advice on this? Thanks!

Used starting fluid, hooked everything up correctly and nothing. I think we are knocking at the door. My friend says it is a spark issue.

Hi all - I have a 47 club coupe. The two door windows are operational (they roll up and down). There are no other rubber parts etc. Can someone give me a list of the parts I need to complete these windows?

Hi - does anyone that is parting out a 47 Club Coupe or comparable model have a nice trunk floor area shown in the picture? If so - would they want to cut out the area in the picture and sell it to me? Any other ideas? Thanks.
