  1. yahooo it comes apart just needed a bigger hammer no just took my time and went slow the piece that holds the spring on is just a really tight fit then you can pull the bolt and fitting off There is a copper washer on both sides of the fitting try finding that part. Had to take a drain plug gasket and open the inside up to about 7/8 but all works now. Thanks to everyones help I am sure yall will be hearing from me again. Ken
  2. Thanks for all the info I am going to take it apart tomorrow again and study it real hard. already did this once maybe I just need to be more manly with it . On the otherside of the lid its about 2 inches long with a spring on it you can push the spring up and the nut and fitting go up away from the lid. I put the spring end in a vise and turned the nut the fitting also turns but nothing unscrews. If I end up breaking something do I just plug the holes in the block or do I need to screw the lines together to make a loop ?
  3. Thanks Rusty not real sure had the top off and tried to remove the bolt The fitting seems to be part of the bolt which is hollow and screws down into the canister oil comes up threw the bolt and into the fitting and thats where the other oil line hooks to
  4. I have a oil canister leaking between top lid and the fitting/bolt that holds the lid on. its a 7/8 bolt head with like a banjo fitting underneath it that the oil line. screws into. under it is a spring like it could be a pressure relief valve.could i have to much oil pressure making it leak ? The bolt and fitting do not separate or remove from the lid. any ideas ?
