  1. I just had the master cylinder on my 1947 Dodge 1/2 ton bead blasted and honed. When looking in the resivoir there is a small hole and a larger hole going into the cylinder. The larger hole is drilled through into the cylinder but the smaller one does not go through to the cylinder channel. I am reluctant to drill it out. Can it function with one through hole or do you think the honing made it seal up. When I feel in the cylinder wall it is smooth and I do not see that it ever was all the way through from the resevior.
  2. Thank you all for your comments. Everything I saw said the equivalent to a 6.00 - 16 was 195 85 r16 but nearly impossible to find. The more common tire size was 195 75 r16. My worry is the pitman arms. The rear had 225 60 r 16s. I guess I will give the 195 75 r16 a try. Just trying to get this old girl running and driving again.
  3. Can I get away with 195 75 r16s on my 1947 dodge 1/2 ton?
