Hi all, Does anyone have or know where I can find a diagram on routing the cables on the heater control assembly? I have a 1951 DeSoto Custom and the assembly came ripped out. I can’t seem to figure out where the cables are routed and where they come out from the firewall exactly and my shop manual doesn’t address it. I’m also looking to replace the radio which isn’t covered in the manual either. Any good books you all might recommend?

Hi all, I recently bought a 1951 DeSoto custom. I decided to drain the transmission and fill it with the recommended 10W non-detergent oil, but I'm having trouble locating which one is the filler plug. I removed the plate on the transmission hump under the carpet on the passenger side and I see the governor and solenoid but I don't know which one is the fill plug. The shop manual I bought is no use/ very vague. Can anyone help me with this? Are there any pictures I can reference?
