I’d like to get some seat covers for my 49 special deluxe 2dr to hold me over until I get the seats redone. I did get a set that was supposed to fit but they don’t 100%. Anyone have any luck on decent fitting covers

Thanks all hopefully the problem is fixed, haven’t had it out yet though. We’ll see if it holds when I take it to the muffler shop.

Is the canvas cover needed on the rear u-joint on a 1949 Plymouth special deluxe? Mines deteriorated and I’d like to just cut it off and be done.

I traded a 2010 Road King Classic. Yes everything works, but I am wanting it to be almost a daily driver.

I’m sure this has been asked a million times by now but here we go. I presently traded my bike for a 1949 Special Deluxe Coupe. The car runs and drives fine and is all stock except front manual disc brakes and the wheels and tires. I plan on keeping it 6v but do have a 6v pertronix setup for it, but am waiting to replace the Bell B&B carb. first with something more reliable any ideas?
