  1. Well, no good luck on the tube. I have run a rod all the way down it, but ordered a new one, anyhow. It's a race to see when I get it out vs when the new tube will arrive.
  2. KTB, I've got the same thing happening up here in Fort Worth to a 50 Special Deluxe. Long time Iowa car, parked in my in-laws barn since the mid 80s. Last registered in 74. Was bought new by wife's great grandmother. We got the thing "running" on Dr. Pepper bottled gas and no cooling system, lol. I can only hope the distribution tube comes out on this one as easy as yours did. Carb rebuild and electric pump headed its way soon (till I can get time to rebuild the orig).
  3. @Conn47D24 Thanks for the reference picture. @Ivan_B Saw that video this morning after I posted. Now I'm at the white collar job that funds the blue collar job. I'll test it when I get home. @Plymouthy Adams I have 2! When my septic was being installed, I had to train the installers how to use one to troubleshoot an unconnected wire. @Bob Riding Nothing extra fancy. It has been in my wife's family since new. Stored in a barn for 50+ years and she wanted it, so we have it.
  4. 1950 Special Deluxe, 4 door I know it's probably been beaten to death, but I need some clarification on the horn relay wiring. My manual seems to indicate the negative from the starter solenoid goes in the middle and the connection to the horns is top right. I don't know the terminal IDs on the Relay. Is the manual right?
