  1. I got a new disc and pressure plate for my P15 from Andy Birnbaum. They sent a 9-1/4" Borg & Beck. The original was an Auburn. Now I have much heavier pedal pressure and fear wearing out the linkage. Should I replace with an Auburn? My mechanic said the B&B springs are thicker than in the Auburn.
  2. Thanks for all the replies to my question. I think JoAnns , Hobby Lobby, or perhaps Amazon will have something good enough. I tried contacting SMS several times with no response whatever. I don't need to do business with a place like that. The dual heaters were an option and I think Model 56. Exploded diagrams are in the parts books. The 47 coupe I had in the 60s had a single heater on the passenger side. The defrosters were not very good. Under my "aftermarket" seat cover is the original, untorn upholstery.
  3. My door panels on my P15 coupe need a facelift. The cloth is not torn or worn through but since the leatherette bottoms are ratty I want to recover with material as close to original as possible. So far, I cannot find a source for the cloth. Can anyone help me?
  4. Makes sense to me. I will be going with the switch since the car is not a daily driver. Thank you for the fast reply.
  5. Where do I attach the power for the clock in my P15 business coupe? The clock was not installed when I bought the car. I do not know if it should have constant power or to be hooked up at ignition "on". I sent it to Clock Works for a rebuild and would hate to fry it right away.
