    Howdy -- I am searching for the subject starter to convert my 52 Dodge truck to a one button start and delete the pedal start. I might be able to get it re-built, provided it is in good shape. Thanks.

    For small people the size and layout probably works fine. The pedal space for me is tight, and shifting is difficult. Hitting the starter pedal while moving can cost you a starter and even a ring gear.

    Good morning -- I would like to delete the foot starter pedal system and change to a starter button on the dash. I had a 47 years ago that a previous owner had converted, but I not sure how that was achieved. One of my future projects will be to convert the truck to 12 volt, which will not require a different starter. Ideas and advice will be greatly appreciated!
