  17. I am starting a full body restoration on my 36 coupe. The car is remarkably solid, I pulled the door panels off and the inside has just very thin surface rust. 24. Not sure if I'm using the correct water pump. I have a 1950 ply block. The mounting suface for the water pump has 3 holes for the bolts that matches up fine. There is the "D" shape openning for the ditribution tube and also a 1 and1/2'' hole in the block. On the backing plate of the water pump is a small hole 1/4'' on the top portion of the 1and1/2'' block hole and another 3/8'' hole above the "D'' shape distribution tube hole. This 3/8''hole does not match up to anything on the block surface. Any feedback will help.
