Working on my cars. Too many projects. 1937 ford, 1950 plymouth, 1955 chevy, 1966 ranchero.
  1. I would like to convert my 50 Plymouth from lug bolts to studs. Anyone done this or have any ideas?
  2. The main reason I want to change is that the wheels I want to use have a lug nut with a shoulder that fits over the stud between the stud and the wheel. I think your suggestion about pressing in studs is probably the way I'll have to go.
  3. Does anyone know a way to get rid of the left hand threads and install right hand thread wheel studs?
  4. Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. I live in Fresno. About the only time I get up that way is when there is a swap meet in Turlock. Let me know what you want for the carb and maybe we can work something out. Thanks.
  5. I have a 1950 Plymouth that was stored in a barn for 40 years. I have started the motor and it sounds ok. I know I need to go through the brakes and would like an opinion on either overhauling the wheel cylinders or new cylinders.
  6. The throttle shaft in my carb base is very loose. Anyone have a good fix?
  7. Enjoy all the helpful postings. Have 1950 plymouth almost ready for the road. Seems like I said that two years ago.
