I used to have George's phone number but can't find it. George is a good guy too and I'd buy from him in a minute. Can you provide his phone number? I agree with all the other posts regarding Neil Riddle. He's the first guy I called but he didn't have a 6V solenoid at the time. He's always been at the top of my list. Bill

The Solenoid went out on the overdrive of one of my P20's and I found one on the internet at: http://www.fifthaveinternetgarage.com/parts/parts_counter_3.html I haven't dealt with these guys before. Has anyone had experience with them? At $265 for a solenoid (pretty pricey), I would like some input before coughing up that much money. Any other sources available?? Bill

Since I courted my bride (of over 53 years now) in a 1950 P19 Deluxe Club Coupe, it seemed natural to want another one in later years. One thing led to another and now we have two. Both of our cars are P20 Special Deluxe models. -
Here a photo of "Betty Boop's Coupe" taken at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. The pinstriping had not been added yet. -
Although the proposed route is a long way for us, we'd like to join up somewhere. Just keep the info posted so we can plan ahead. We live just outside Salt Lake City and Pete Anderson's route through southern Idaho would work best for us. We'll probably drop by his place on the way anyhow, either going or returning. Anyone taking either I-70 or I-80 west will probably be in our neighborhood and we'd be happy to have them join up with us. I drove from SLC to Santa Maria with Spanky and Bob Kerico in 2008 but had to make the return trip alone (do you know how lonely US 50 is across Nevada?) - not near as much fun as traveling in a convoy.
