Thanks for the tip on the expandable plug I do have a spare one in the trunk for future use. I have already found the right size welsh plug and the car is back on the road .

Hi everyone I just became the proud owner of a "49" Special Deluxe, after looking for several months and a lot of wasted trips this old gal showed up on Craigslist just 65 miles away. After making a deal we began the drive home but a leaking freeze plug put an end to that drive. I live in Lake Havasu Arizona so Rt.66 will be a perfect place to cruise in an old Plymouth.Here is some pics let me know what you think:cool:
