  1. for my Dodge D24 1948 I need supplier for new springs for the brake shoes; I live in The Netherlands and here it is difficult to get the right springs two questions: is there difference between the springs front-rear? front has two springs, rear one, and the front springs looks havier than the rear what are the part nrs or what is the lenght of these springs thanks a lot for helping me
  2. The worse you can do is start the engine and let it run for some time without riding for at least 30 min. If you don't want to go on the road for a period longer than 2 month, take the battery out and charge it once or twice. But the best wy to keep your classic car in good condition is to drive on the road, and in a period of one or two month there is always a possibility on a dry surface. My 1948 Dodge starts very well after two month without charging the battery, so I don't understand the 'problem" I use a float charger only for my Harley because the bike has a very small battery and the alarmsystem can't be shut off; it works good. For my Dodge and other classic cars I never need a charger
  3. if you want to see a 100% authentic interior....be my guest
  4. when my heatriser broke down, I removed it and fixed the flap; starting without choke is no problem, it takes only a minute more to get the engine warm enough to rev up easily; heatrisers are not for sale here in Holland and the temperatures are mild, so it's ok for me
  5. ok, thank you; I think I understand it.....
