recently bought a 1950 Dodge pickup truck B2B vin # 82194958 and i am trying to find out what engine it has. It is a flat head 6 engine that is 23 inches long with the serial number L230*ii663i* on the driver side very near the front of the engine up @ the top of the block where they usually are . Other numbers in the block casting , there is a # 32 that is rotated almost up side down a little lower then the serial # about a 1/3rd of the way back from the front of the engine on the drivers side . Also on the drivers side of the block near the center down at the bottom just above the oil pan are the numbers 58 8 20 . The head of the engine has the # 1676337-1 cast on it along with # 3-18 and an NH cast on it as well . I would appreciate any information to help me find out what i have .
