  1. WOW, lots of good info, Thanks to all of you... Im using Rotella T 15W-40 oil. I like the Jeep filter that "Sniper" posted... or I may consider one of the used ones. I usually consider changing my oil and filter once a year, just before I put it up for the winter, I feel having clean oil in it while its sits, is better . ? Again, thanks for the input.
  2. OK< Is this replaceable? Does it come apart?
  3. Ranger, I have these...
  4. Thanks Greg g.. No, Not going for points, just basic repairs... Here are a couple of places I checked: https://www.moparmall.com/1936-1940-MoPar-Deck-Lid-Weatherstrip-p/706-055.htm http://store.oldmoparts.com/a-weatherstripping/trunk-rubber-sedan-12-6/a-345/ Clesters seem to have the best price...
  5. Tring to find where to get trunk weather stripping for my 36 Plym P2.?? I see it listed in different sites, some with poor pictures, I hate to buy and fund it wrong >. ?
  6. RobertKB: thanks, I'll see if I can get under the dash to check... have not ventured there yet ?
  7. TodFitch: Super, I'll keep that in mind when making the decision (rebuild or swap) . So those are considered the 23" that I am reading about?
  8. Oil showing in Oil Pressure Gauge in my 36 Plym: Just acquired my 36 Plym and noticed oil in the bottom of the Oil Pressure Gauge?? Foolish question, is it just a gauge failure? I have not tried to check the connection at the gauge yet.
  9. 9 Foot Box...Thanks for the advice... Great info,,,I'll go hunt down some Seafoam.. It's not a downer, it's all good... considering my options including looking for a Spitfire 265...

  13. New Member: 1936 Plymouth 2 Door Sedan I just picked up this 36 2 door sedan, I believe it is a touring sedan P2? Original inside (I've been told) , 1 repaint many years ago on the outside,. It is said to have original 50k miles. Runs good, low RPM knock. Starts fine. Smoke bad on de-acceleration. I love it...Need to learn about these MOPARS as I've been a Shoebox fan for years...
