Great .. my axle is round and different than the one in your picture . So apparently the truck didnt have factory two speed rear end then. I am struggling to exactly understand what I have on the truck . Learning more and more and becoming more work, really trying to figure out a build direction and forgo as many surprises as possible . Appreciate all the info . Here is the vin plate

What's typically the axle ratio in 2 ton trucks with 2 speed rear end ? Have the option of upgrading to Dana 110 4.88 with disc brakes . Splitter rear end really necessary? Thx
