Hello exhaust gasket leaking thought I would try and replace it ? used a lot of WD 40 for a few days and needed a breaker bar just to get the 4 nuts at the end flanges loose bad news only 1 of the nuts came loose the other 3 studs came right out of the block ( I guess I will use them and put them back in the same way , if I do should I use some sort of sealer ? ) are there additional bolts to be removed as well I read somewhere how do I get to those any suggestions on this I think I’m in over my head help c

Cold at start and hot driving is the higher hot idle is the lesser tx c

Hello 62 thousand miles run 20/50 motor oil with zinc additive cold oil psi 38- 40 hot oil psi 18- 20 is this ok your thoughts tx c

Hello i now run 20-50 oil with zinc additive my oil pressure at cold start ( 50 degrees and above ) is about 38 or 39 lbs at full warm up On a hot day i am at about 20 lbs is this ok your thoughts tx c

Yes can shift into all when not running and when running except when starting I have to put her in first with the clutch pedal pushed she jerks a bit but then starts maybe it is just a minor or gummy something

I like the restomod idea but she is nice and original

She runs well just not so fast and just sounds busy sounds like a lot of RPM at 45 or 50 mph i did a recient tune up including a carb rebuild by others never checked the timing

No idea on the rpm

Sounds busy not sure what the rpm is , fluid drive is tempermental need to have it in 1st gear when starting otherwise I can’t get it into 1st when running

Maybe I should sell her before I mess it up Also the fluid drive is a bit sticky when starting i have to have her in 1st gear before starting once started I can not get into 1st

Hello to all i have a 46 dodge coupe ( black Betty ) have owned her for 20 years she is all stock with fluid drive and runs well but doesn’t like to go much over 40 mph But i would like to venture out to further car shows and cruises so any suggestions to update the drivetrain are welcome tx c
