I took a little run through the Amador wine country today. It was very chilly in the morning, but warmed up nice as the day wore on. Still don't have my heater installed or the leaky windshield fixed. Also need to finish the door weatherstripping, but... Hey Reg! I'm still planning on a little trip to Grass Valley - maybe on a day like today when there's no chance of rain.

Jim, glad to see she's on the road !! Nice photo. Throw on a heavy coat and a lap robe and come on up. My truck is out of commission right now waiting for a coil from Langdon's or I'd meet ya 1/2 way. Do ya need one of these for the ride home?

I don't know, what is it? A heater? I've got a MOPAR 70 but haven't put it back in yet. I took it out about ten years ago and now can't figure out how it goes in. Plus, I installed my firewall pad and covered up all the holes. The only thing real obvious is the two holes for the hoses...

Yeah, it's a MoPar model ?? truck heater. I thought if ya didn't have one we could install this one. I have your problem in reverse. My heater is in and I don't feel like removing it to install my new fire wall pad.

Interesting Jim that both you and I live in or near areas considered wine country. And so does Reg, only he doesn't like wine. So Reg, where is vaka country? Is that in california?

Well Bob, Ya know....I'm glad you asked.

I live up here in the Gold Country of California and

Vodka or VAKA or VAHKAH, like GOLD,is where you find it.

I put this little directional sign together early one weekday morning as you can tell by the spelling I chose.

Note to self:

Wine give me a headache almost instantly. VAKA ,at least, has the decency to wait for about 8 hrs.

Actually, the trip was for wine - as Christmas gifts. And, lo and behold, the 'ol truck developed a coolant leak again at the exhaust manifold. This time with some attendant oil coming out of the front bolt hole. I guess I'll need to drain it and try the 'ol gasket sealant again around the threads. At least it's not both bolts this time...
