49plymouthdotcom Posted September 30, 2008 Author Report Posted September 30, 2008 The springs arrived today. They weren't in a box, just layin against the door when I got home. The only markings I have seen so far is the spray painted numbers and USA, and the JC Whitney sticker. I'm heading over to the garage today so I'll match them up to the originals and see how they compare. Quote

49plymouthdotcom Posted September 30, 2008 Author Report Posted September 30, 2008 How long from order date to delivery? I ordered the leaf springs 07/22/2008 and they arrived 09/30/2008. So almost 2 months. Quote

oldmopar Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I had order a jcw leaf spring for a 1/4 ton m416 trailer took about 6 weeks but other then the slow ship time no complaints Quote
49plymouthdotcom Posted October 4, 2008 Author Report Posted October 4, 2008 Matched the originals. Hopefully they perform well on the car. I opened one of the spring covers and checked it out. Still had some of the cloth in there. Were those covers a good idea or just something that collected water and rusted the springs? Quote
Fireball Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 I'd say those covers were an weak idea. That's the reason they are no longer used. Quote
Frank Elder Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 Half the fun is opening the box! Frankie Quote
