here is the rocker skin template i had bent up a while back i now have the measurements i need to make two new skins but no money so i will have to wait to skin the rockers so im onto the holes in the floor and cutting up the trunk

remember this rocker skin is not the final product

That is looking really nice Joel. Looks like you got a good helper there. Good help is hard to find these days, especially help that wears a spiderman jacket. :D

Your doing great, this is a very big/extensive project, lots of work inthese dang rust repairs. My 47 Coupe needed rockers, and outer floor support fixes too, not the extent of yours, but lots. My car was really a trip away from the scrap yard, but once this stuff is done, it's all behind yyou. The square tube steel will last forever and it's strong as hell.......Fred

i love laying down on that

i saw a guy installing those one day at the doc's office i ask could i see one i put my knee to it and asked could i have it he asked why and i said it's wierd he said try me i told him i will lay on it when working on my old plymouth he smiled and say's i do the same with my chevy and said heres a new one enjoy

Joel, good progress man. Got a question for you. What ever became of the Packard you looked at a couple years ago??? And I believe you were the one who posted the pic of a Specially bodies Desoto Coupe that you had seen, Did that ever get sold, or is it still sitting where you saw it???
