Ivan_B Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Why is the trunk a different color on the inside? 🤔 Also, not a single picture from underneath... Looks very nice from the top, though. Almost too good for the listed mileage.
Booger Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Very doable project for the price. Hey new owner! Share your restoration with us!
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 the inner trunk color as explained by Young Ed, these undersides of the panel where coated with what the company called eco-sheen..it varied over in the years and assembly plants in actual color yet still known as eco-sheen. My Evansville built car was closer to a green and in fact I was able to match this paint color very well.
Ivan_B Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 (edited) So this is actually original paint? That's what I thought, before looking into the trunk. Sold for $3100 - that's amazing, assuming that the floors are still there and the engine is not trash. I always find it interesting how the cars are listed for $$$ and are only actually sold for $ at the auctions. Edited July 29, 2025 by Ivan_B
