RobertKB Posted July 15 Report Posted July 15 (edited) I was looking at some of my old parts I bought at a swapmeet a long time past. This fuel pump was from Macleods that went out of business decades ago. I probably paid more than the sticker price at the swapmeet. Sure would be nice to buy a brand new fuel pump today for Canadian $3.99! 😊 I’m guessing this is from the ‘60's. Lots of suction and would probably work for a while until the modern gas killed the diaphragm. Edited July 16 by RobertKB 1 Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 I hear ya. I paid $36 for a new fuel pump for the ol' Dodge in the '90s (...late 1900's?). Put a new one in (from the same vendor) that cost almost $200 this year. For whatever reason, I had "$30 or so" on the brain when I went shopping and was stung by the "new" cost. Quote
Doug&Deb Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 That pump is definitely worth rebuilding with ethanol resistant parts. Then and Now Automotive has kits. Quote
