Not very likely especially if it's still in the 90s.

Greg, let me know if you decide to go.

Friend of mine sent a message that he is in attendance at the start of the event in Owensboro.....expect a pic or two.  I would in no manner call this a race but for sure, timed rally event is just not as exciting a name.  These events in case no one has ever participated in one, not as easy as one would think.  I think a regatta would be fun also if able to compete as a U-boat captain.

my bud sent some selected picture of the entrants....with all the stickers plastered on the cars.....it is a pure negative for me and I would not cross the street to look at any of them....I know they needs sponsors and endorsements....but clutter is clutter.

The Great Race came through Maine several years ago when it ended in Halifax.  I didn't have to travel far to watch the cars on the road, which was interesting because despite all the stickers and such they still have to be original except for safety upgrades and such.  It is certainly not a parade of old cars, since it is a rally course, kinda boring after a while, and it's mostly the same cars every year.  It is ending in Gardiner, ME this year, after stopping at a couple of Maine's automotive hot spots.  The weather isn't supposed to be all that good here, either.

Looks like I missed something here in my home town. What were the details?

yes on Tuesday f this week the Hemmings Motor News and Cocker tire was hosting the Great Race from Kty to Maine which ended today.  Gettysburg was a stop over location and day ending finishing point.

The race which really is not a race but a time and endurance rally is held every year. Original it was an event that went across the USA.
