TomfromFlorida
Hi. I have a 1947 wd-21 truck with a 230 flathead six in it. I’m looking for a replacement radiator. I haven’t found any recent posts on this. I know I can go to DCM or eBay and spend around $600+. I would like to go cheaper than that. Will the early Chevy truck radiators fit? Some of the dimensions are pretty close. Thank you
Young Ed
Try a champion radiator. If they don't have direct fit check measurements on early 50s Plymouths
The Oil Soup
Here is the website. https://www.championradiators.com/Plymouth-Special-Deluxe-radiator-1949-1952 I used a radiator from them that has worked flawlessly for several years but it wasn’t the one listed for my truck ( filler located in the center ) but maybe the one shown. They list measurements, that should help.
The Oil Soup
This is the one I ended up buying and trimmed off the angled piece on the upper inlet. I think Don used the same radiator on his car. https://www.championradiators.com/product/CC4749
